I am just got back from the movie 'Kismet Konnection'.. to say I was terribly bored during the movie is an under-statement (those who know me, know my bar is really low!).
I suppose the part of the problem was, went expecting a 'Jab we met' like movie, something fresh and fun, instead got an over-dose of over-acting, and mind numbingly inane dialogues.
The only silver lining was the few scenes that have Himani Shivpuri.
My rating 5.5/10
(1 point more than I wanted to give the movie, only for the music - 'Bakhuda tumhi ho', beautifully done by Atif Aslam).
ah i almost forgot this , enjoi

Police
I had been meaning to see Police live in concert for last year and a half, since the time they announced there will be a re-union tour, after spending a little over $650 (2 tickets each at 3 venues - NJ, NY and finally AZ) and wait of over 15months in total I got to see them .. yay !
The show was well worth the wait, it was opened by 'Elvis Costello & The Imposters' - the did their thing (played around 12 songs), the crowd cheered them a bit, sang along a couple of known songs .
The Police kicked off the show with the acoustic “Bring on the Night” from their 1979 album “Regatta de Blanc” followed by same album’s “Message in a Bottle.”
"I was a little worried you wouldn’t come because of the cold,” Sting told the crowd, “but I guess it’s a luxury for you.” (It was cold for this time of the year, I had a sweater on :), but miss the show ... no-way)
Just a sample "Wrapped around the finger"(i wasn't even a fan of the original, but the percussive version just left me speechless)
I read somewhere that the band was going to break up again after the tour wraps up.
At least I got to see them :)
